Legendary Bar-B-Que Sauce
This Bar-B-Que Sauce isn't your typical ketchup-based product. This means that when we wanted to develop our own Bar-B-Que Sauce, we didn't start with ketchup and just add a few spices to it like most of the brands you find out there.
We started with tomato paste and a blend of spices to give our product a stand along taste. It took a long time to finally come up with a special spice blend that allows us to say, "It's the sauce that sticks to your ribs!" Using the right amount of Natural Smoked Flavor, Garlic, Soy Sauce, and Peppers, this sauces does have a good bite to it. Looking for a mild sauce flavor, keep looking, this sauces isn't for you. Listed are a few recipes you can try.
Serving Suggestion
Teaser Sauce
Use instead of your favorite Bar-B-Que sauce on ribs, chicken or pork chops. Great as a Buffalo Wing sauce too!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Johnny Fleeman's Honey Mustard
- 1 cup Johnny Fleeman's Legendary Bar-B-Que Sauce
- 1 cup Cayenne Pepper Sauce
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients together thoroughly. Be sure to store the unused amount in the refrigerator.
Johnny Fleeman's Smokey Mountain Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups cracker crumbs
- 3/4 cup Johnny Fleeman's Bar-B-Que Sauce
- 1 cup Johnny Fleeman's Steak Sauce
- 1 package onion soup mix
Method:
Mix together and place in loaf pan and cook for about 1 hour or until done at 350 degrees.
Meatloaf Topping Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Johnny Fleeman's Bar-B-Que Sauce
- 4 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Meatloaf Topping Method:
Mix thoroughly and spread evenly on top before cooking.
